Moving Away From Shortcodes
Divi 5 has moved away from shortcodes in favor of a more versatile and better-performing storage format. If you’re updating a site built with Divi 4, it must be migrated to the Divi 5 format. Don’t worry, we made it easy!Â
If you are using Divi 5 on a new site, there won’t be anything to migrate, and you can hit the ground running.
A New Yet Familiar Interface
Divi 5’s interface got a much needed overhaul to support all Divi’s existing features plus all of the great new features we have in store for the near future. You can expect something new but familiar along with a huge performance boost. The new builder also includes improvements, such as more intuitive responsive editing, new interaction modes, breadcrumbs, etc.
