2024 is just about over, and I can hardly believe it. It was a busy Autumn with WordCamp US in Portland and our 5th Annual Black Friday Bonanza (which was the best yet). Let’s keep the momentum going as we wrap up the year!
Let’s read on to what our communities have been up to all autumn. ⬇️

This month we had an excellent meeting with Pete from DIVI Engine joining us and telling us more about how DIVI 5 differs from 4. Also how developers can utilise the new technology used for their performance benefit.
So glad WordCamp Cape Town was a hit! 🤸🏻♀️

Our recent meetup focused on the crucial topic of accessibility in web design. We delved into the importance of considering individuals with disabilities when designing websites. It’s easy to get caught up in adding decorative elements, but we must prioritize inclusivity. We discussed various dos and don’ts to make web pages accessible. For instance, using descriptive alt text for images ensures that visually impaired users can understand the content. Additionally, we emphasized the need for clear and concise language to cater to users with cognitive disabilities. This meetup served as a reminder to design with empathy and create websites that accommodate everyone’s needs.

Our October meetup exploring the Divi 5 Public Beta interface was incredibly productive. The new features and improvements generated a lot of excitement as we explored the enhanced user experience. The intuitive design and customization options were particularly impressive.
We’re confident that these enhancements will streamline our workflow and elevate our creative output. The integration of new tools and functionalities has opened up a world of possibilities, and we’re eager to leverage the full potential of Divi 5 in our upcoming projects.
Overall, the meeting left us with a strong sense of anticipation for the official release and the endless possibilities it holds.
November 2024

Our recent Holiday Mastermind Roundtable Discussion reflected on the year 2024 and looked ahead to the exciting possibilities that 2025 holds.
One of the highlights of 2024 was attending the 5th Annual Black Friday Bonanza community meetup, where we had the opportunity to hear directly from the Elegant Themes Development Team and Nick Roach, the founder of Elegant Themes and the creator of Divi. We learned Divi 5 is on track! We delved into all the significant events that occurred throughout the year, including the emergence of AI and its integration with Divi. This technological advancement has changed the way we create websites and has significant implications for SEO.
As we move into 2025, we are filled with anticipation for what the future holds. We’ll continue to explore the possibilities of AI and how it can enhance our Divi workflows. We’ll also keep a close eye on the latest trends and developments in web design and digital marketing to ensure that our community stays ahead of the curve.
We are grateful for the Divi community to connect with all the Divi users from around the world in our Meetups. We learn from each other and learn from your experiences and insights. Your contributions make our community stronger and more vibrant. Here’s to a prosperous and fulfilling 2025.

We explored how to turn basic shop designs into something far more exciting using Divi’s powerful modules, dynamic content, and a few pro tips. The Q&A was buzzing with great questions, and we all walked away with new ideas to elevate our stores. Thanks to everyone who joined in—see you at the next Meetup!
