Let’s Welcome Our New Meetup Host
Please give a warm welcome to our new host! We just onboarded a new Divi co-host for Divi Tampa and we’re thrilled to introduce you to him
Divi Tampa, Florida, USA
Meet the host, Vasileios Miteloudis:
I [am a] Teacher / Graphic Designer [and] want to support Steve Willingham in his effort to promote a Divi group for local people who are interested in this phenomenal WP theme.
Vasileios is joining Steve in leading Divi Tampa and we’re thrilled they’ve formed a team to grow the community! 💥
Updates from Existing Groups
Like I mentioned above, all sorts of excitement and action are brewing in our Divi meetup communities right now. Off the bat (like I mentioned last month), our very first Divi Mega Meetup is happening in a couple of weeks! We’re all super excited about this! And, we hear talks about another Divi Black Friday Bonanza coming up this November… 👀 Be on the lookout!
But first, see how our meetups went down in September!
Divi Brisbane, Australia
From the Host, Lisa Hewitt:

We had our first Divi Brisbane meetup this month and it was great. Our group is only just starting out. We had 5 members join us on our first zoom session. We introduced ourselves and quickly went over how we use Divi. We are all looking forward to [seeing the] Divi Brisbane group grow more.
We’re ecstatic to see Divi Australia back at it! Yass, team! 🔥
Divi Chicago, Illinois, United States
From the Hosts, Joan Margau & Scott Winterroth:

We were honored to have Tim Strifler as our guest speaker. Tim is well-known in the Divi Community for his Plugins and Child Themes. Tim shared how he started out a WordPress enthusiast and discovered Elegant Themes and the Divi Theme in 2013. He started building websites with Divi and this grew into a business. Tim gave us his insight and experience about building a business, not everything was smooth sailing. He explained what works and what doesn’t work. How to find a team of developers, designers, and content creators and keep them, especially when they are loyal and talented. We even had time for questions and answers.
Tim will be speaking at the Divi Mega Meetup coming up on October 13. Check your local Divi Meetup for details.
Love it, Divi Chicago! ♥️
Divi Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, USA
From the Host, Tommy Lee & Kent Pilkington:

This month, we at Divi DFW dived deep into Divi’s Split Test feature. For the first time in Divi DFW, our audience participated in a live demonstration of Split Test functionality, and we reviewed the results together. We also talked about best practices and guidelines for running A/B tests on their websites.
We love your commitment, Divi DFW! ♥️
Divi Kolkata, India
From the Host, Rajesh Ravidas:

It was a wonderful session where Manjay showed us how we can slide anything in Divi without using a plugin. It was [a] super easy and interesting session.
So, glad to see Divi Kolkata always on it! 🔥
Divi Lagos, Nigeria
From the Hosts, Ayodeji & Olusegun:
Attendees: 6
We decided to spicy things up by organizing a meetup where we talk about using plugins with Divi, it was quite an interesting and educating session with Q&As.
Yay! Warms my heart! 🥰
Divi Sacramento, California, USA
From the Hosts, Rosalinda Huck & Elizabeth Hahn:
Attendees: 28
In September, we talked all-things-images for our topic meeting – including optimization, cropping, stock vs. pro photography, types of image files, and also accessibility. We welcomed several new members during our monthly Q&A meeting. One highlighted topic was how beginner users can best learn to build websites with Divi. We’re excited for next month’s Mega Meetup, and to hear from our panel of Divi professionals about Starting and Building a Divi-based Business!
These two make my heart swell with their love for Divi SacTown! 🥰
Divi Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
From the Host, Dustin Olsen:

In September, we did our traditional Q&A meetup – and we demo’d two plugins Dustin uses for creating popups on Divi websites and when a popup makes sense. We also had questions about working with the navigation and adding background videos and photos to sections in your layout (and how to make adjustments for mobile too).
For those who couldn’t make it, here is the recording.
Next month Divi SLC is participating in the first-ever Divi Mega Meetup.
We love what Dustin’s doing with Divi SlC! 💯
Divi Tampa, Florida, USA

Sweet September 2021!
We had 8 members attending out of 17 sign-ups. About an average attend vs sign-up ratio! Most attendees were from the Tampa Bay [area], but two were connecting from out of State – North Carolina and New Jersey. We had very interesting discussions about SEO, speed improvement strategies, custom fields and taxonomies, and the plug-ins that can make that happen. A demo of Divi’s global elements capabilities was also shared. All-in-all this was a fun and informative get-together.
Love it, so much, Divi Tampa! 🤸🏻♀️
Divi Valencia, Spain
From the Host, Celine de Castro:
Attendees: 4
Our topic was How to Speed Up Your Divi Website. We had a great meetup which was held mainly in Spanish with a bit of English thrown in. Our guest speaker, Wolfgang Eigner is extremely knowledgeable on the technical side and was able to share resources and work with the attendees’ websites. It turned out to be a wonderful 2-hour workshop and a perfect way to spend a Saturday morning!
Woot! Yasss, Divi Valencia! 💯
