  1. i think you shoulg add the option to put text link like in image module, i used the default option of wordpress but the color is only blue and i can´t change it, i know just a little of programming, this would be a great change if you make it. I wish you a lot of success.

  7. Wow.. surprise surprise!
One of developer is from my country 😀

  8. SUGGESTION: When you have a remote/blended podcast like this, how about suggest to your guests that they should answer their questions on paper (e-document) first, then read through them OUT LOUD about five times before making the video to send back to you? I guarantee when they do that, they will find many places they want to edit their document before going final on their video.

Listening to people like this who seem totally unprepared, who have long hesitations, and who load up their speaking with verbalized pauses (“um”, “ah” etc.) is quite painful to listen to, and does not live up to the professionalism of the rest of ET outputs.

Please don’t take this as a flame of Fikri, it’s not. But please recognize that just because someone is an outstanding developer does not automatically make them a good speaker.

I sincerely hope this input helps you improve the quality of your future podcasts/vlogs.

    • Personally David, I enjoyed hearing Fikri speak from the heart about the passion of his work on Divi 3.0 and don’t want to hear any scripted prepared response and found it anything but painful.

      • I’m sorry I have to back up David on this one. I’m so happy to hear from one of the Developers but he’s not a polished speaker. It’s difficult and kind of painful to watch. Maybe next time a google hangout to have it more organically, or yeah have him write down his answers first as bullet points and use them as notes. It’s just a bit too scattered and confusing to listen to.

Props to Fikri for putting himself out there, and thanks for the video. I’m hoping it can be done better in the future as a format.

  9. Does anyone have any experience in using Divi & BeTheme? Just started using divi and a couple of people have been telling me about BeTheme. What are the divi advantages?

    • Divi and the BeTheme are my favorite 2 themes to use. I tend to use Divi most of the time simple because it has much less bloat and is a lot faster. I still use the BeTheme on quick projects though. Plus I feel as though the development phase is much more enjoyable with Divi. With the BeTheme, you spend a lot of time configurating settings vs. actually designing. Especially if your using one of their 200+ demos to start with.

On top of that, the BeTheme uses the muffin builder for their pre-designed layouts and don’t have a Visual Composer version of it. So your layouts can’t be saved and transferred over from site to site like Divi. I would also recommend the Bridge theme if you’re a fan of visual composer, however Divi (especially 3.0) is much much better in my opinion.

  10. Will the pricing change once Divi 3 is launched? Will you offer any discounts for Divi 3?

  11. Thanks for this interview and thanks Fikri for the insights you’ve share. Keep up the good work.

  12. Excellent interview! Thanks for sharing. It’s inspiring to hear successful stories.

  13. Looks like there’s an error while trying to watch the video?

    • Working now 🙂
