Welcome back Divi Nation to a brand new episode of our podcast and video show. We’ve got a great show in store for you today in the form of a conversation I had with passionate community member Mark Richmond. If you’re involved with any of the highly active Divi and Extra Facebook groups then chances are you’ve seen him around. You’ve probably also seen his website pop up here on the blog, as it was featured in our roundup of Divi Design Agencies.
Mark has fully embraced the remote working lifestyle by moving himself and his family to the Virgin Islands where he can paint and design websites exactly the same as he would anywhere else, but with a lot nicer weather and more personal satisfaction. We talk about that decision and a lot more in today’s show.

Stepping Back to Move Forward featuring Mark Richmond – The Divi Nation Podcast, Episode 34
[powerpress]
In this episode of Divi Nation, the official Divi podcast, I got to talk with Mark Richmond of Divi Dojo based out of the Virgin Islands. Mark has been a visual artist for most of his life. His web design career began by teaming up with developers to bring his design sense to the web. However, as he got more into WordPress and especially Divi, he has been able to own his web design projects more or less completely. This opened up the opportunity for him to specialize in Divi design and education via Divi Dojo. Hear all about this and more in today’s show!

Really appreciate Mark’s experience as he shares his journey with WordPress and Elegant Themes, and using some of the Themes before DIvi. It is necessary to step back to move forward. Great episode, informative and inspirational.
Excellent episode! Mark’s story is a real inspiration to those of us in the business who struggle to find our stride. The concept of stepping back to move forward really hits home. Thank you Mark and Nathan.
