Day two of WordCamp US was a whirlwind of speaking sessions, interviews, and hallway hangouts. Oh, and of course the State of the Word presentation. It was a fun day and we certainly kept busy! If you didn’t happen to catch the livestreams we did throughout the day yesterday we’ve included them in the post below.
You can also find our WordCamp US Day 1 Recap here.
Divi Nation Interviews at WordCamp US
In this video I was graciously joined by members of the Divi Community to talk about their reasons for coming the WordCamp US and what they have found valuable about this event and WordCamps in general.
A Few Solo Interviews with New & Familiar Faces
One of the great things about attending these WordCamps is that you get to run into so many different people from all across the WordPress ecosphere. There’s WordPress users of all stripes, WordPress bloggers and thought leaders, and more than a few vendors who provide essential WordPress services such as hosting, security, and more.
In this interview I got to meet and chat with Corey Hammond of A2 Hosting; who, as it turns out, is also an Ohio native! Be sure to stick around until the end to hear his tip on picking a good host that most people don’t think about.
Many of you will recognize BobWP as a longtime blogger and active WordPress community member. He specializes in teaching WordPress to beginners, power users, and anyone interested in eCommerce.
David Blackmon is another familiar face many here in the Elegant Themes/Divi Community is sure to recognize from around our corners of the web and past WordCamps. If we had put together an award for “Divi Evangelist” he would have won it at WordCamp US hands down!
How to Watch the 2016 State of the Word
If you missed seeing the State of the Word address in person you can still catch in on the official WordCamp US website for free! Just register for a free livestream ticket and watch the video here.
Thanks for Following Along!
Each event like this that we attend as a team where we have the opportunity and privilege to interact with the Divi Community in person keeps us passionate about the future of WordPress, Divi, and our goal of facilitating even more in-person events.
Thank you to everyone who came out this year to WordCamps and meetups across the globe to deepen your knowledge of WordPress and Divi while building closer community ties. We look forward to a whole new year of meeting you all in person in 2017!
Thanking you for sharing Valuable blog.
